Market Focus
Minutes from global central banks are the focus of investors this week. On Monday and Wednesday, Bank of Japan and U.S. Federal Reserve will release minutes in January. In the previous month, some Fed officials thought it would be appropriate to consider ending asset purchases later in 2013 and spooked markets a bit.
In U.S., Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer, is due to report results on Thursday, unofficially closing out the earnings period. PMI data on the same day and building permits data on Wednesday will give additional information of U.S. manufacturing and housing sectors.
